Long time coming. We’ve done a fair bit, got our album fully remixed. Well, we didn’t have to do that actually.. but there’s some really deadly stuff on there. Lots of respect and gratitude to the eleven producers who gave the tunes a good seeing to. It’s available as a free download here.

We played some gigs, the one in October with Legion of Two and No Spill Blood (their first gig, when they were called The Brills) being particularly brilliant. It was a pleasure to play with two of the best bands in the country and have a really impressive screen printed poster made by Gav Beattie.

We also did a three day tour around Ireland with Poino, not a lot to say about that except it was the best of times. They are a formidable live band and we had top funz and great crowds in Cork, Waterford and our seven bander in Whelans. Thanks milions to all involved. So what’s coming up? On April 4th, we’re going on tour in France, with one gig each in Switzerland, Belgium and Germany. We’re going with K’atla and have 9 of 11 nights booked at the moment. Gonna be amazing! We’re playing Camden Crawl Dublin in May too, we filled out a pretty hilarious press questionnaire yoke for that so we’ll upload that and last years tour diary over the next few weeks. Promise.

So we’ve all been busy with other bands, a record label, jobs, trips to hotter climates, college and the like. We’re still pluggin’ away on the rock though. We’ve been slowly getting a couple of new tunes together and hopefully will be airing one or two of them at the gigs we’ve got coming up; in London with the awesome Shield Your Eyes and our very talented buds Silent Front on the 22nd of July and as part of Spraoi in Waterford on July 30th. Loads of other great bands playing that, should be a lovely vibe altogether.

Other than these gigs we’ve a tour diary to type out, must get on that, and we’re releasing remixes of tunes from the album every Monday. There’s been 4 already and you can keep an ear on them here! There should be a remix for every tune on the album when we’re done, it’s deadly getting to hear a lot of talented folk make something new from the recordings. Here’s today’s one from Sarsparilla:
